About

Admissions

Admissions to Future Education School are made by the relevant local authority. The majority of our students have an Education Health Care Plan prior to attending.

We understand that a change of school can be an unsettling time for the pupil, parents or carers. We plan our admissions procedure to ease this process, working closely with all those concerned to ensure the best outcome for each pupil. We do not use terms such as "school shaped” as we recognise and celebrate the individual nature of all our pupils.

We take our responsibilities very seriously so admissions will frequently be led by the Headteacher who will arrange visits to school and will be available for home visits prior to any enrolment.

The school has an Admissions Policy which can be viewed in detail in the document section of this website.

Facilities

Future Education School is located in West Norwich. The School buildings include 7 classrooms, including rooms for Science, Maths, English, Food Technology, Arts and Media. We also have a live radio studio and a recording studio. ICT resources are in all classrooms with desktops and iPads available.

Future Education l has a playing field which is currently marked out for 5 aside football.

We create timetables which are engaging and exciting and we use local facilities like University of East Anglia Sports Centre, Whittingham Country Park and Eaton Vale Activity Centre to provide pupils with challenge.

We work closely with pupils to ensure that the school environment is a calm and nurturing place and it is conductive to learning. We want our school to be a familiar and comfortable education environment which encourages a sense of respect and pride in the uniqueness of this school.
